Marquinhos does not rule out leaving PSG this summer. He could join… Karim Benzema.
The bombshell of the day comes from journalist Sacha Tavolieri. According to X, this source asserts that Marquinhos could depart PSG this summer. Saudi club Al Ittihad, where Karim Benzema plays, is interested in recruiting Marquinhos to bolster their central defense.
The Brazilian defender is aware of Al Ittihad’s interest and is not opposed to a departure, provided PSG reaches a satisfactory agreement regarding his transfer.
Additionally, Al Ittihad is considering Mario Hermoso from Atletico Madrid, a player also highly regarded by their sporting director, Ramon Planès. Discussions have also been held regarding Arthur Theate, but there’s no agreement with Rennes as of now.
However, RMC, through journalist Fabrice Hawkins, denies this information. Marquinhos will not leave. “Paris Saint-Germain wants to keep Marquinhos and counts on him for next season,” he assures on X.
