OM reportedly made a €20 million offer, although MU is holding out for €40 million. However, negotiations aren’t the issue in Marseille. Charges were ultimately dropped in February 2023 due to lack of key witnesses and new evidence.
According to La Provence, Marseille’s leadership “prefers not to interfere with English justice” and considers the matter closed.
