Manchester United is reportedly open to allowing central defender Raphaël Varane to depart in the upcoming January transfer window. However, the Red Devils are not considering a loan for the French player and would prefer a permanent transfer.

The estimated amount for this transaction is said to be in the range of 20 to 30 million euros.

Although Bayern Munich has expressed interest in Varane, his salary could pose a significant hurdle to completing the deal.

Manchester United’s decision to part ways with Varane could pave the way for negotiations with other clubs interested in the 30-year-old central defender.
