Igor Tudor left Olympique de Marseille (OM) at the end of last season and had the opportunity to stay in Ligue 1.

According to L’Équipe, AS Monaco made him a “golden offer” to become their head coach, considering him their top choice to succeed Philippe Clement.

However, the former Juventus player turned down Monaco’s offer. He informed his former Marseille executives about the approach and chose to decline it as a sign of respect for the club that allowed him to leave.

Monaco eventually appointed Adi Hütter as the coach, a decision that seems to have worked out well for them so far.
