After 11 years at Paris Saint-Germain, Marco Verratti has signed with Al-Arabi SC in Qatar. PSG announced the departure, stating that “the Italian international will leave an indelible mark in the club’s history.”

“I have been very proud to wear the colors of Paris Saint-Germain for more than a decade, to be alongside so many great players, and to win 30 trophies. Paris, the club, and its supporters will always have a very special place in my heart. I will be a Parisian forever,” said Marco Verratti.

“Marco will forever be connected to Paris Saint-Germain. He played a major role in our great history. I will never forget his arrival in 2012 at the age of 19. Since then, he has always been there for the club, giving his all on the field and achieving so many great things with us. I would like to sincerely thank Marco and his family on behalf of everyone associated with Paris Saint-Germain. He will always be part of the club. We wish him the best in this new adventure,” said Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, President of Paris Saint-Germain.
