Frenkie de Jong is not going anywhere. While he was briefly considered as part of a player exchange deal to alleviate the club’s financial woes, the Barcelona player is now expected to stay for an extended period.
Barcelona is contemplating extending the contract of the 26-year-old Dutch midfielder, Frenkie de Jong, until 2028.
