When asked about the strength of his connection to FC Barcelona despite being born in a village in the province of Seville, Gavi emphasized his strong bond with the Catalan club. He stated, “It comes from having seen the best team in history, the Barcelona of Xavi, Iniesta, and company. Since then, I have been a Barça fan, and I always will be.” The player, who was nurtured at La Masia, further added, “Anything and everything, I would do anything (for FC Barcelona). I wouldn’t be happier anywhere else. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
