Real Madrid is struggling to make an impact at the start of the season, and former coach Fabio Capello attributes this partly to Kylian Mbappé, who brings the same imbalance he did at PSG.

Capello points out that Mbappé’s limited defensive involvement (25 years old, 8 appearances, and 5 goals in La Liga this season) complicates the work of coach Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian, who has also managed Real Madrid, emphasizes that Mbappé’s lack of contribution in defensive phases is detrimental to the team’s overall balance.

« I think Carlo Ancelotti needs time, but he knows a lot, » Capello commented, as reported by *L’Equipe*. « As usual, when you sign a star who doesn’t understand that they need to work hard like everyone else…

« And in Madrid, there isn’t just one star; there are many more. That’s why it takes a little time. But soon Carlo will find the right balance to secure victories. »
