Just two days before the North derby between Lens and Lille, the pitch at Stade Bollaert was vandalized.

According to RMC, individuals poured acid onto the field, causing damage in multiple areas. Additionally, anti-Lens graffiti was discovered on the stadium’s totems and ticket booths.

Despite this act of vandalism, the match is not in jeopardy, and the Lens club is working to repair the damage in preparation for the game scheduled in 48 hours.

A complaint has been filed, and surveillance footage is being reviewed to identify those responsible for this incident.
