Chelsea is ready to make a move for Jules Koundé this winter! According to information from Sport, this operation could reach a fee of around 60 million euros.
Koundé, 25, is a versatile player capable of playing both as a central defender and at right back, making him an appealing target for Chelsea. The English club had shown keen interest in the French international in the past, particularly during the summer of 2022, before Koundé ultimately chose to join Barcelona from Sevilla for 50 million euros.

At Barcelona, Koundé quickly established himself as a key figure in Xavi’s defense, contributing to the La Liga title won by the Blaugrana in the 2022-2023 season. However, rumors have circulated in recent months regarding the player’s dissatisfaction with his use as a right-back, a role he has openly expressed discomfort with, preferring to play centrally.
