Real Madrid: Toni Kroos Reconsiders His Future in Football

Toni Kroos, who decided to retire at the end of last season, has not completely closed the door on football.

According to Relevo, the 34-year-old former midfielder of Real Madrid has registered with UEFA to obtain his coaching license. While he has initiated this process, Kroos is still uncertain about fully committing to a coaching career.

He expressed that he wants to be “prepared, just in case.” Kroos previously mentioned that one of the reasons for his retirement was fatigue from travel and hotel life, stating, “As a coach, I would return to that life. You travel a lot, so it’s not my main idea, although you should never say never,” he said in an interview with *Bild* last August. Has he already changed his mind about pursuing coaching?
