FC Barcelona is considering ending its partnership with Nike, its sportswear sponsor since 1998.

The relationship between the Catalan club and the American brand has become strained, and Barcelona aims to renegotiate the existing contract, which runs until 2028. The club believes that the current amount, set at €155 million since 2016, is below the market rate.

Nike is currently unwilling to increase this sum. In response, New Balance has expressed interest in becoming Barcelona’s new sportswear sponsor, while Puma has also approached the club, although less prominently than New Balance.
